Obituary
Melvin L. "Rob" Robinson, Sr., 72, was born October 30, 1951, and made his earthly transition on September 20, 2024. Melvin a Louisiana resident graduated from Reuben McCall Senior High School in 1969. Melvin joined the United Staes Army in 1981 giving 22 years of dedicated service to his country. Melvin was an avid musician playing the saxophone from the age of 13.
He is survived by his loving wife Connie; children-QueWanda (Kenneth), Sherrie, Melvin Jr, and Marcellus; sister-Patricia; brothers-Billy, Ronald and Reggie; 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, 1 Uncle, 8 Godchildren, and a host of caring cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
A musical to honor Melvin will be held on Friday, October 4th at the SONRise Fellowship Ministries Church, 7142 Richie Hwy, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 at 7:00pm.
Viewing will be Saturday, October 5th at the Nichols-Bethel UMC, 1239 Murray Road, Odenton, MD 21113 at 11:00am. Funeral services will follow at 12:00 noon.
Burial will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
